Address: Canton Street near Foster Road
    Beverly Hills

We come here a lot when I visit from Cali. And they’re renovating the pond, it’s going to be soooo nice when it’s finished.

  • The Trails

    Address: 2333 Fern Dell Dr
    Beverly Hills
    California
    90027
    United States

A great place to stop on your way up to Griffith Park. Worth mentioning, you will have a time finding hikes to take your dog on in LA as all state parks are devoted to protecting the natural habitat and thus do not want dogs disturbing things. That said, there is a 1.6 acre off-leash dog park area that is: “Located at North End of the John Ferraro Soccer Field on North Zoo Drive Los Angeles, CA 90027 Phone: (323) 913-4688 Seperate area for small or timid dogs Open sunrise to sunset.” According to the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. I just stumbled into heaven! An open-air/dine-under-the-sequoias/health-minded cafe right at the trailhead and part of the park system! #griffithpark #la #losangeles #vegancafes #stumptowncoffee A photo posted by @angelafos on May 26, 2016 at 11:55am PDT “The Trails is by far one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles. Being able to combine two great loves of my life — coffee and hiking — creates a wonderful little spike in my happiness level every time. Once you find parking, walk up and order at the counter (either “for here” or “to go” like you would at most other coffee shops). There’s no inside seating area. Everything is outside surrounded by trees and plants to the left of the little hut that you order from. You’ll find a mix of everything from large picnic tables to logs that have been re-purposed into seats. They provide high chairs – kid friendly! – and water bowls – dog friendly! – which makes this a great spot for pretty much any park visitors. The coffee is always on point. They food is unique and varies on a daily basis (pie and pastries are amazing if you’re wanting to splurge.) The avocado sandwich, as many people have mentioned here, is the perfect post-hike lunch. I’m also a big fan of their homemade granola with yogurt if you’re interested in fueling up before you hit the trails. Is it a little pricey? Yeah. Sometimes crowded? Sure. But to me this spot is worth it. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. If you have the availability to go on a weekday when the lines are almost non-existent, you’ll be in heaven.” By Kaity J. 2/16/2016 Yelp “Exceptional Avocado sandwich with sprouts onion and tomato.Coffee is from Stumptown. Staff is super friendly and the location is pure magic. They are dog friendly and you actually get to meet normal LA peeps! Best times to avoid lines on weekends are 8am or 11am. Great date place for pie and coffee in the afternoon.” 4.0 star rating by Mike H. 12/23/2015 Yelp “I decided to order the Avocado Sandwich since a lot of reviewers have been raving about it. 4 stars for the ambiance and shaded outdoor seating. It’s conveniently situated near some of the griffith park trails for post hike treats. Definitely dog friendly.” 4.0 star rating by Laney B. 3/31/2015 Yelp Featured Image photo credit LA Weekly read more

  • West Hollywood Off-Leash Dog Park

    Address: 8341 De Longpre Ave
    Beverly Hills
    California
    90069
    United States

Located right across Sunset from the Saddle Ranch (be careful crossing the street if you enter from this way). There is parking if you enter from De Longpre. Be careful taking the ramp up to parking if your car is built low to the ground our you may bottom out. Also it is tough to maneuver with a longer wheelbase. Smaller cars should fit well! Warning: the ground is made of dirt and wood chips so your dog WILL get dirty. Likely very dirty. The park is super convenient though, so as long as you don’t mind a filthy dog/bathing your dog, you will be fine.

  • La Poubelle

    Address: 5907 Franklin Ave
    Beverly Hills
    California
    90028
    United States

Info: Located not technically in the Hollywood Hills, this wonderful, amazing, exceptional spot is right at the base of the entrance to the original “Hollywoodland.” Perfect for those venturing up Beachwood Canyon to check out the stairs, hike to the Hollywood Sign, check out the dog park by the LA River or enjoy Sunday brunch at its finest! La Poubelle is located right by the famous Birds restaurant on Franklin. They provide your dog, not only with a big bowl of cold, purified water, but a big bowl of chicken breast! How fantastic is that!? The food is great, they have unlimited mimosas, and there are always fun people there with their dogs so it’s likely that you’ll strike up a conversation with another dog-loving Los Angeles resident from anywhere in the metro area. This place is a destination. I absolutely love it and would drive there on Sunday mornings with the fam when we lived on Sunset Plaza. Quite the trek but well worth it! The Fare: Everything comes with a super leafy greens salad with the best vinaigrette (I usually hate vinaigrette). The eggs benedict is the go-to, with the salad and bottomless mimosas.

  • Century Park East Condos

    Address: 2170 Century Park East
    Beverly Hills
    California
    90067
    United States

If you are leasing one, or decide to buy one, these condos are the best option for a pet owner in the city. They have their own private dog park! The residents with pets (almost a majority) all get to know one another and the staff will likely know you and your pet by name.

  • Mulholland Dog Park aka Laurel Canyon Dog Park

    Address: 8260 Mulholland Dr
    Beverly Hills
    California
    90046
    United States

The homes surrounding the park are considered the most desirable location in the WORLD! When we think of movies, Beverly Hills always defined the most exclusive area. Now that is hardly the case. Sunset Plaza and "the Bird Streets" are where the mega-rich are having their ultra modern super mansions built. When looking for the most elite real estate for purchase the rule generally is West of Laurel Canyon and South of Mulholland Drive. What perfect coordinates to find a dog park!
